About the Vuarnet Brand
The iconic “Skilynx” lenses were invented in 1957 by optician and ski-enthusiast Roger Pouilloux. By 1960 these lenses were worn by French skier Jean Vuarnet during the Olympic Games, and a legendary brand was born. The success of this Olympic pairing led naturally to a business pairing that today we know as Vuarnet.
