About Vuarnet
In 1957 the “Skilynx” lenses were invented by optician and ski-enthusiast Roger Pouilloux. By 1960 the Skilynx lenses were worn by French skier Jean Vuarnet during the Olympic Games. The success of this Olympic pairing led naturally to a business pairing, and the Vuarnet brand born.
