Background: I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I have been working in optical since 1985. After high school, I moved to Austin, where I studied and worked until returning to Houston in April 2018. I have a Shih Tzu/Pekingese, Eli, who I raised since a puppy since 2016; we love to take daily walks at the local dog park.
Extracurricular: I have a green thumb, and I’m currently into tropical plants. In addition to spending time with Eli, I volunteer at my local Catholic church in youth and adult ministries. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family.
How Lucas Sees Things: I have many pairs of eyeglasses! My current repertoire includes Lindberg, Theo, and Face a Face. I love my Transition lenses in my everyday glasses, but I need sunglasses—my favorites are by Matsuda.
Trendwatching: I love color and unique design. Right now, Theo is my favorite.
Squad Goals: In the short time I have been at Eye Elegance I have enjoyed the diversity of the customers. I learned of Eye Elegance’s reputation while I was working in Austin and fortunately, the rumors are true—the staff is very friendly, and I feel like family.
