Last month we travelled to Las Vegas for Vision Expo West, and our frame vendors did not disappoint when it came to new offerings! Everyone had great new ideas for style and color, and there are definitely some new trends coming in the next year.
Especially notable is the new collection from Entourage of 7. Owner/Designer Jakob Talbo is pushing the envelope with bold titanium with acetate inserts, larger sizes with thinner acetate rims and emphasis on matte colors, especially matte black. I’ll be featuring these on our Facebook page as soon as they come in!
Robert Marc excited us with beautiful color on his classic hand-made shapes. Inspired by Rome, the Spring/Summer collection has beautiful jewel-tones like sapphire, amethyst and garnet fronts with marbleized temples in a blend of topaz, smoky quartz, crystal mixed with the blues, violets and reds of the fronts. The men’s collection uses black marble and warm stone looks on the temples with classic black, tortoise and grey frame fronts. We are excited that Brian with Robert Marc will be back with a trunk show early in 2012 again to present the new collection in person!
After emphasizing bold acetates in the past couple of seasons, Théo presented a new collection of titanium frames with bold details and, as always, striking colors. We’ll be presenting a trunk show to feature all of their latest styles coming on in early December, so look for an announcement for the date and time soon!
We have already started receiving new styles from Oliver Peoples, Lafont, LaLoop and Lindberg, and the new David Yurman collection, which is truly amazing, should be here any day. Please stop in when you’re in the neighborhood and let us show you what is new. Don’t forget that our end-of-season sale is going on until October 26, and the American Cancer Society Holiday Shopping Card is coming up at the end of October. We have cards available now for a minimum $70 donation to the American Cancer Society.
Until next time,
