‘Tis the Season for Color

Are you feeling festive yet, Houston? If you’re updating your holiday wardrobe, don’t forget about your eyewear wardrobe! Why not invest in a colorful pair of glasses that reflect your joyous holiday spirit? Shades of blue, red, and green are traditional holiday colors that are also easy to sport year-round, making new frames a great investment.

Go Green

You really can’t go wrong when you go green—it’s just a matter of finding your shade. Some of our favorite frames in green include:

• From the LA Eyeworks “Quill” collection is #938 or “Apple Tart.” These funky frames are handmade in Japan, and make a bold statement in bright green, black, and white.
• In the reading glasses category, we like “Fare ‘n Square” by EyeBobs. A green tortoise front with green temple arms, these readers are stylish and affordable at under $100.

Really Red

A pair of red frames will serve you well during the holiday season, and all year long. Try a few of our favorites, including:

• Another great pair of green frames are the “Yummi” from Face A Face. Not only do you get to pick a pop of green, the modern cat-eye shape and clean lines make these frames a great choice for everyday.

Be Blue
