Spooky Party Plans for Halloween in Houston – Part 1

The days are getting shorter, the temperatures are slowly dropping, and in just a few weeks Halloween will be here—sounds like autumn in Houston to us! Don’t forget to stop in to either Eye Elegance location—Montrose or Post Oak—to see the new frames we brought back from our recent trip to Vision Expo West in Las Vegas, and stay tuned to the blog for updates on in-store events and upcoming sales.

Halloween in Houston: Find the Party

If you’re in search of Halloween fun in Houston, look no further than this list of hot holiday parties—sorry, costume ideas not included!

Bring the whole family to Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo on Friday, October 27, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Entrance to Zoo Boo is included with zoo admission, and includes photos in the pumpkin patch, costume parades, trick-or-treating, and more.

Another great family-friendly Halloween option is Scream on the Green at Discovery Green from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., where you’ll enjoy costume contests, music, a movie, prizes, and lots more fun.

If you’re looking for something just for grownups, try the Creatures and Cocktails Night Hike at Nature Discovery Center on Friday, October 27 starting at 7 p.m., or the Halloween party at VRSI nightclub in Midtown beginning at 10 p.m.

Get a little exercise, and a little beer, when you sign up for the Monster Mash Run 5k/10k at Karbach Brewery on Saturday, October 28, at 7 a.m. – there’s a fun run for the kids, too!
